Calvin C. Lambert

Nov. 5, 1924-March 30, 2015 Mr. Calvin C. Lambert, age 90, of Alabaster, formerly Holly Pond, passed away early Monday morning, March 30, 2015. He was born November 5, 1924 in Cullman County to John Frank and Bertha Ann Chambers Lambert. Mr. Lambert was a member of Central Park United Methodist Church and a faithful member of Ruth Bagett Sunday School Class. He worked for U.S. Steel for 35 years. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Clara Mae Baker Lambert; brothers, Clifford, Leon, JD, JC, AQ and Horace Lambert; sisters, Flossie McIntosh, Zelda Lambert, Anna Lambert. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include sons, Richard Calvin Lambert and David Bailey, who was like a son to him; daughter, Deborah Lambert (Stephen) Talley; grandchildren, Jeromy (Natasha) Lambert, Andrew Lambert, Danielle (Bryan) Hill, Jennifer (Ryan) Weldon, Michaela Lambert, Douglas (Brooke) Talley and Amanda (Josh) Slaughter; great grandchildren, Harrison, Carson, Milydia, Jack and Tristan; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Holly Pond Funeral Home, with burial in Holly Pond Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to service. Rev.
