Calvin David Ramey

Calvin David Ramey, 79, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on August 18, 2025. Mr. Ramey was born April 3, 1946, to Calvin and Vivian Ramey.

David was a great man who drove a truck to provide for his family. He always had a joke ready to make you laugh, and he made the best smoked ribs. He is loved and missed by many.

Mr. Ramey is survived by his wife, Ethelene Ramey; nine children; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Martha and JR Fillmore.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy, Donny, and Jeff Ramey; and sister, Agnes Nunnelley.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Monday evening, August 25, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services for Mr. Ramey will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Etha Baptist Church Cemetery where David will receive military honors.
