Clinnon Conrad "Buddy" Burden

Clinnon Conrad “Buddy” Burden, 87, of Baileyton, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019.  He was born December 2, 1931, to Henry and Suzie Lowe Burden.

Mr. Burden was a salesman. He spent many years transporting used automobiles from the Chicago area to Baileyton. Buddy was one of the first in our area to understand the need for a used car business. Mr. Burden was a special man; he loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly. His absence will be felt by many.

Buddy is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters. He was one of eleven children.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Bobbie Sue Burden; sons Marty Burden and Clinnon Burden; grandchildren, Matthew Burden and Brandy Burden; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Burden and Elise Burden.

Funeral services for Mr. Burden will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, Jerry Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior to services from 10 a.m. until service time.
