Donna Kay Whisenant

Mrs. Donna Kay Whisenant, age 64 of the Birdsong community passed away late Saturday evening, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Cullman County to Argin Lee and Elrose Barton Goodlett. Mrs. Whisenant was a loyal member and supporter of Holly Pond Church of Christ and worked at the Cullman County Sherriff’s Office in the Records Department. Preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, E.J. and Mollie Barton; and special aunt’s, Lackey Barton and Bernice Barton Hanes.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Mr. Phillip Whisenant; sons, Matt (Margaret) Whisenant and Russell (Corrine) Whisenant; five grandchildren, Thomas, Shelia, Celest, Lee and Abigail; special sisters, Sandy Parker and Glenda McElroy; and family friend, Carl Poder
