Edith Adell Williamson

Edith Adell Williamson, age 77, of Holly Pond, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, in Marshall County. She was born November 1, 1940, in Winston County to Johnnie and Della Watts Robins.

Mrs. Williamson was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Edith loved her family and she spent many years working alongside her husband in their construction business, KD Industries, to help provide for those she loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Earl Williamson; son, Steve Edward Williamson; brother, Bill Robins; sister, Margaret Robins; and brother-in–laws, Bobby Gunter, I.J. Lacey, and Pete Brown.

Survivors include sons Michael Randall Williamson(Regina),  Shelldon Duane Williamson(Leslie);  brothers, Leon Robins(Sarah), Mack Robins(Connie), Jim Robins(Ann), Ricky Robins(Jackie), and Bobby Robins(Joyce); sisters, Gladys Gunter, Ann Lacey, Shirley Barnes(W.L.), Joyce Brown, Brenda Moody(Royce), and Carol Daniels(David); and grandsons, Coty Williamson(Victoria), and Graham Williamson.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Duck River Baptist Church, with the Reverends Jim Robins and Ricky Robins officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Williamson will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel.
