Edna Christine Wise

Christine Shaw Wise, 93, of Holly Pond, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020.  She was born July 5. 1927 to Elbert and Mamie Ellard Shaw.  Mrs. Wise was a member of First Baptist Church of Holly Pond, where she taught Sunday School, Bible School and was active in several church committees and projects .  Mrs. Shaw was also a member of Holly Pond Cemetery Committee and Holly Pond Homemakers Club.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 73 years, Emmet Wise; her parents; brothers, Marvin, Roy, and Don Shaw; also beloved grandson, Grant Wise.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Judy Wise; sister, Sue Morris; granddaughter and her husband, Lindsey and Eli Howard; and great grandchildren, Cooper, Evie, and Porter Howard.

Graveside Service will be conducted by Bro. Benjamin Smothers at Holly Pond Cemetery, 10 a.m. Sunday, July 26, 2020
