Funeral Services for Mr. Gary Lynn Burden, age 67 of Holly Pond, will be at 11 a.m. April 4, 2017 at Holly Pond Funeral Home. Interment following in Corinith Baptist Church Cemetery in Joppa.

Mr. Burden passed away on April 2, 2017 in Cullman County, Ala. He was born on July 20, 1949 in Etowah County, Ala. to Dillard Burden and Estelle Miller Burden. He served in the United States Army and worked for the State of Alabama Highway Department.

He is predeceased by his parents; wife, Diann Mabrey Burden; brother Ray Burden; and sisters, Minnie Sue Hill.

Survivors include son, Clint (Summer) Burden; daughter, Amy (Tommy) Smith; grandchildren, Adalynn Burden, Sadie Burden, Kane Smith, and Gunnar Smith; and brothers, Byron Burden and Joe Burden.

Visitation will be Monday, April 3rd from 6 until 8 p.m. at Holly Pond Funeral Home.
