Gary Lee Steele

Gary Lee Steele, 58, of Holly Pond, passed away May 31, 2019. He was born July 14, 1960, to Leldon and Gladys Harris Steele, in Cook County, Illinois.

Gary worked for Brinlee Mt Pools for many years, and he could tell you just about anything you needed to know about a swimming pool. Gary was also a loving father. His children will miss him greatly.

Mr. Steele is preceded in death by his parents, Leldon and Gladys Steele.

He is survived by sons, Taylor (Candi) Steele, James Steele, Josh Steele, Justin Steele; daughters, Tania Steele, Stephanie Steele; brothers, Richard Kevin Steele, Troy Steele, Nathan Steele, Danny (Vicky) Steele; and sisters, Glenda Steele and Diane Westmoreland.

Funeral services for Mr. Steele are 11 a.m., Monday, June 3, 2019, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior to services, from 10 a.m. until services begin. Burial will follow in Holly Pond Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help with funeral expenses. Donations should be made directly to Holly Pond Funeral Home, in memory of Gary Steele.
