James A Thompson

James Andrew Thompson, age 53, of Holly Pond passed away at his home Saturday, September 16, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.  He was born to Thomas A. and Clara Walker Thompson in Marshall County, Alabama. He attended Auburn University, earning a degree in Animal Science and was a member of Auburn Alumni Club, a member of Cullman County School Board 2012 -  2016, and a member of Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church.  His occupation was a salesman.  He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors are his mother, Clara Walker (Bobby) Graves; wife, Teresa Gail Fortner Thompson, daughters Emily Thompson and Elizabeth Thompson; sister, Andrea (David) Beasley.

Funeral Service will be 11 am Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Brooklyn Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:30 pm – 8 pm Monday, September 18, 2017 at Holly Pond funeral Home.  Victor Quick conducting services.  Pall Bearers are Mike James, Mark James, Cody Ratliff, Cecil Patterson, David Beasley,and Caleb Patterson
