Jefferson Sanford Smith

Mr. Jefferson Sanford Smith, age 73, of Hanceville, passed away Friday at Hanceville Nursing Home. He was born in 1942 in Cullman County to William and Norma Denny Smith. He was a church member at Harvest Temple Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Smith is predeceased by both his parents and his wife Martha Jones Smith.

 He is survived by his son, Tony (Pam) Smith; daughters, Tammy (Ronny) Shaddrix, Theresa Smith (Rex Westmoreland), and Tina (David) Robertson; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sisters, Linda (Dwight) Wamsley and Barbra Jenkins.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 10th at Harvest Temple Pentecostal Church at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating he will lie in state at the church one hour before service. Burial following the service will be at Etha Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, July 9th at Harvest Temple from 6 PM until 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Harvest Temple.
