Jo Ann Grimmett

Jo Ann Grimmett, age 66, of Cullman, passed away Thursday, October 12, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1951, in Marshall County to Dewitt and Syble (Miller) Rasco.

Ms. Grimmett is preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Roger Kelley; and brothers, Bobby Rasco and Coy Rasco.

Ms. Grimmett’s survivors include; sons, Bret Kelley (Jennifer Brown), Shane Kelley; daughters, Dawn Fitzsimmons (David Boda), Stephanie Giannott (Mike), Veronica Smith; brothers, Buck
Rasco, Terry Rasco, Berry Rasco, Glennis Rasco; sisters, Marzie Carroll, Linda Johnson; grandchildren, Patrick, Blaze, Brielle, Haven, Ayden, Riley, Elizabeth, Kayla, Trent; great-grand children, Tylin, Tristin, R.J.; boyfriend, Troy Allison; and a host of friends and co-workers from Wal-Mart.

Ms. Grimmett is a member of Journey Church - but also enjoyed attended Temple Baptist Church, part of the Fairview High School graduating class of ’69, and an employee of Wal-Mart for over thirty years.

Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, with Joseph Jones and Joel Coots officiating. Burial will follow in the Grace Fellowship Cemetery
(formerly Mt. Pisga) in Baileyton, AL. Pallbearers are David Boda, Troy Allison, Patrick Pollock, Kevin Kelly, Dawn Fitzsimmons, Joseph Jones, and Brett Kelley.

Visitation will be Friday, October 13, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
