John D. Thomas

John D. Thomas, age 70, of Cullman passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018, in Cullman, AL.  He was born February 10, 1947 to Carl W. and Ollie Mae Bush Thomas.

He worked as an orderly at the Hanceville Nursing Home where he helped to provide care for nursing home residents.

Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by both his father and his mother.

He is survived by his brothers, Bobby Thomas, David Thomas, and Cliff Thomas; and a sister, Bonnie Davis.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. with a Memorial Service following at 1 p.m. in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel.
