Lorena Sue Murphree

Lorena Sue Murphree, 71, of Holly Pond passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She was born in Kentucky on March 24, 1947.

Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was a homemaker, and made home a special place for her family. She was a naturally talented artist and her paintings reflect the beauty she saw in the world.

Mrs. Murphree is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Elsie Johnson Wright.

She is survived  by her husband, Dalton Murphree; sons, Michael(Sonya)Murphree, Darrell Murphree; brothers-in-law Larry Murphree, Arbalee(Lottie)Murphree; sister-in-law, Molly(Larry)Murphree; grandchildren, Zeke, John Ross, Caitlyn, Alexandra, Max, Sam; and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guest Friday evening, August 31, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Holly Pond Funeral Home.
