Maggie Marie Self

Maggie Marie Self, age 86, of Altoona, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 in Birmingham. She was born in Blount Co. to Denson Haynes and Minnie Blackwood Haynes.

She is predeceased by her parents; husband of 61 years at the time of his passing, G.L. Self; daughter, Regina Green; brother, Eldridge Haynes; sisters, Elaine Strickland and Margie Bryson.

Ms. Self is survived by a son, Carthal (Ann) Self; daughters, Nell (Jimmy) Miller, Charlotte (Billy) Davis, Sherry (Ken) Boyd, and Mary Malone; brothers, Bud Haynes, Kenneth Haynes, and Rolland Haynes; sisters, Peggy Hollingsworth, Barbara Sherrer, Anette Foust, Betty Jean Graves, and Frances Lloyd; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 10th at 11:00 AM at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel.
