Margaret Annette Hurst

Margaret Annette Hurst, of Holly Pond, Alabama, passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 66. Ms. Hurst was born in Cullman County, Alabama on June 26, 1959, to the late Jack Theodore Davenport and the late Ruth Othel Harper Moore.

Margaret was a homemaker who strived to provide a loving home for her children. Her outgoing personality and love for people made her a friend to many, and she was always willing to help her family and friends in any way possible. Margaret was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Ms. Hurst is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her children, Brandon Leipert, and Lesley Hurst (Jason Harbin); siblings, Doug Davenport (Sharon), Linda Starnes, Tammy Milligan (Phillip); and granddaughters, Samantha Giles and Madalyn Giles.

The Hurst family will celebrate the life of Ms. Margaret at a later time.
