Martha Sue Fithian

Mrs. Martha Sue Cordell Fithian, 77 of Holly Pond, passed away Wednesday afternoon in Birmingham. She was born in Walker Alabama to Herman & Beda Cash Cordell. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired supply clerk, civilian employed, by the U.S. Army.

Mrs. Fithian is predeceased by her parents, brother, Pea Cordell, sister, Faye Cordell Holley.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Doyle Jean Fithian; Sons, Douglas Lee Fithian, Robert Doyle Fithian; daughter, Rhonda Smith Clark; grandchildren, Brandon Fithian, Justin Smith, Dustin Harbin, Jessica Smith, Brileigh Fithian, Lily Fithian; brothers, W.H. Cordell, Bodie Wayne Cordell, Herbert Ray Cordell; and sister, Linda Cordell Morgan.

Pall bearers will be Doug Fithian, Robert Fithian, Roger Clark, Justin Smith, Dustin Harbin, and Mathew Thomas. Rev. Patrick Morton officiating.
