Mary Evelyn Lovell

 Mary Evelyn Smith Lovell, age 94, of Holly Pond, passed away Thursday at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born in 1921 to Mr. and Mrs. Virgil and Minnie Ann Swafford Smith in Blount County, AL.  She was a church member at Redan Baptist Church.

   Ms. Lovell was predeceased by her parents; husband, Marvin L. Lovell; and two sisters, Marie Gilland and Louise Lovell.

   She is survived by her three sons, Jimmy (Anne) Lovell, Larry (Brenda) Lovell, Bobby (Rachel) Lovell; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 23rd, at 11:00 AM at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. DuJuan Reese officiating, with burial following the service in Holly Pond Cemetery.

   Visitation will be Friday night beginning at 6:00 PM and will end at 8:00 PM.
