Funeral services for Mary E. Plunkett, age 98 of Panama City Beach, FL. will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Holly Pond Funeral Home. Interment following in Union Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Plunkett was born in Cullman County, AL to R.G. Lovell and Lela Taylor Lovell in 1919. She worked in the printing industry for a shipping company. Mrs. Plunkett was a member of United Methodist Women’s Club, Pioneers Club of Pelham, and the Methodist Quilting Club. She passed away in Clanton, AL on July 28, 2017.

Mrs. Plunkett was predeceased by her parents and husband, Carmon Plunkett.

Survivors include her sons, Terry (Erin) Plunkett and Danny Plunkett; grandchildren, Jennifer Letner, Robert Plunkett, Matthew Plunkett, Lee Plunkett, Chris Plunkett, and Kevin Plunkett; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Darrell (Candice) Lovell; and sister, Kathlene (James) Mitchell.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm on Monday evening at the funeral home. The grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
