Montie Ray Free, 84, of Holly Pond, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019. He was born August 6, 1934, to Montie Wert and Cholie Temperance Orr Free.

Mr. Free served our country honorably in the United States Army. We appreciate his sacrifice for our nation. Montie was also a foreman for Goldkist.

Mr. Free is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include a son, Alan (Rebecca) Free; daughter, Andrea McCurdy; brother, JW Free; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
