Nancy Hayes

Nancy Fortner Hayes, 86, of Holly Pond, passed away on March 29, 2021. She was born September 12, 1934, to William Millard and Fannie Louise Burden Fortner.  Nancy was a longtime resident of the Brooklyn Community and she was an adoring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Ms. Hayes is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Butch Fortner.

Nancy is survived by her granddaughters, Randa (Kelly) Duke, Karli (Matt) Huddleston; great-grandchildren, Tanner Duke, Tess Duke, Tate Duke, Beau Huddleston, Millie Huddleston, Cash Huddleston; her sister, Joyce (Hershel) Patterson; and her nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Ms. Hayes life is being celebrated in a private family service.
