Funeral services for Patsy “Pat” Ruth Barnett Phillips, age 72 of Cullman, will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Holly Pond Funeral Home, interment following in Duck River Cemetery. Benjamin Smothers officiating.

Mrs. Phillips was born in Cullman County, Ala. on June 10, 1944, to Jesse Barnett and Sarah Belle Foust Barnett. She graduated from Holly Pond High School and was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Holly Pond First Baptist Church and Red Hats Society. She passed away on May 16, 2017, with her family at her side.

Mrs. Phillips is predeceased by her parents; brother, Herman Barnett; sisters, Bonzie Key, Dorothy Duke, Mary Herndon, and Nancy Pendley; and brothers-in-law, Don Hatley, Martin Key, and Randy Pendley.

Survivors include her loving husband of 51 and a half years, Jan Michael Phillips; sons, Tim (Denise) Phillips, Michael (Mandy) Phillips, and Steven Phillips; daughter, Pamela (Bill) Burt; grandchildren, Austin, Alexis, Audrey, Ben, Libby, Savannah, Addison, and Maks; great grandchildren, Remi and Kye; sisters, Joyce Hatley and Barbara Harris; brothers-in-law, Escol Duke and Andy Harris; sisters-in-law, Elna Barnett and Pamela Phillips; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Visitation will be at Holly Pond Funeral Home from 6 until 8 pm on Thursday, May 18, 2017.
