Rhonda Gail Wood

Rhonda Gail Wood, 60, of Holly Pond, Alabama, passed away on October 18, 2021. She was born in Tennessee, on October 20, 1960, to Rayburn Delker and Kathryn Hooper Needham.

Mrs. Wood enjoyed crafting and making floral arrangements. She also enjoyed puzzles and she loved animals. Rhonda and her husband, of forty-one years, had two children together and she loved her babies, as well as her grandchildren. Family was the most important thing to Rhonda. She loved and was loved, and she will be greatly missed.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby Ray Wood; son, Bobby Gene Wood and wife Tonya; daughter, Tiffany Russell and husband Josh; grandchildren, Brandon Wood and wife Karissa, Hailey Wood, Elijah Russell, Jake "Cash" Russell, Cheyanne Westcott; great-grandchildren, Jayden Wood, Jasman Joiner, Crymson Martinez; sister, Becky Weaver and husband Bobby; nieces, Bridgette Shelton, Kimberly Walton; great-nieces, Raven Johnson, Taylee Shelton, Kylee Walton, Madison Walton; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wood are 2 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021, at Zion Grove Baptist Church, where Rhonda was a member. Burial will follow in Zion Grove Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family, at the church, on Thursday evening, October 21, 2021, from 6 p.m., until 8 p.m.
