Richard Elvis Copeland

Mr. Richard Elvis Copeland, Sr., 68 of Hanceville, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016, in Cullman. He was born in Warrior, AL, to Richard Louis and Etha Allred Copeland. He worked as a welder, pipefitter, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Copeland was predeceased by his parents, wife, Shirley and brother, Pete Copeland.

Survivors include sons, Richard (Sharlene) Copeland, Jr., Jason Copeland, Clellon (Marica) Grimmett, Terry Grimmett, and Tony Mann;  daughters, Cheryl (Jody) Couch, Deann (George) Hyder, and Donna Grimmett; sister, Elois (Nathan) Carden, Edith (Julian) Oaks, and Blanche (Charle) Thomas, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. 

A memorial service will be held at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, April 17, 2016, at 2:00 pm.
