Robert Duane Phillips, 93, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away on July 29, 2022. He was born July 1, 1929, in Cullman County, Alabama, to Lonnie Robert and Corena Wisner Phillips.

After many years in the welding and consulting industry, Mr. Phillips began his own consulting company with his son and grandson. Mr. Phillips enjoyed ballroom dancing and was a member of the Birmingham Fraternal Council’s Merry Makers Dance Group. He served as a deacon at his church, Duck Creek Missionary Baptist Church. But more than anything, Duane loved and cherished his family. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and he fought through his illness to make certain he saw his youngest great-grandchild born.
