Vera Stanley

   Mrs. Vera Cornelius Stanley, age 92, of Cullman, passed away late Saturday night at TLC Nursing Home in Ontenoa. She was born in Cullman County to Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Cornelius and Nancy Stephens Cornelius. She was a member at Center Point Baptist Church and the church’s WMU and JOY Fellowship.

   Mrs. Stanley is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Henry Stanley; and a son, Ricky Wayne Stanley.

   She is survived by 2 daughters, Janette Marie Daniel of Pinson, AL and Gail (Vic) Baughman of Cullman; a son, Joseph Michael (Pamela) Stanley of Jeffersonville, IN; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

   Funeral services for Mrs. Vera Stanley will be held Tuesday, July 5th, 12:00 noon at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel with burial following the service at Center Point Church Cemetery. Rev. Albert Dean Estes officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Josh Baughman, Derek Baughman, Dewayne Campbell, Scott Moran, Jeff Harkness, and Zak Bidlake.
