Vickie G. Sartain, 73, of Holly Pond, Alabama, passed away on September 11, 2026. Ms. Sartain was born on July 25, 1953, to the late Donald Rosco and Joyce Elizabeth Goodson Hill.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents as well as a grandson, Schylar Hill.

Those left to cherish the many memories of Ms. Sartain include her children, Jon Jon Hill (Deanna Boyle), Dana Hill, Amanda Sartain Miller (Kevin}; grandchildren, Makayla Fowler (Jesse), Austin Sartain (Chloe), Jayda Miller, Alivia Hill, Bram Hill; great-grandchildren, Knox Sartain, Nash Sartain, Locklyn Fowler, Huxton Fowler; and sisters, Kim Glenn, and Donna White.

Vickie was a diligent worker who rarely took any time for herself. She loved her children and adored her grandchildren, all of whom she helped to raise.

Ms. Sartain enjoyed watching the news and always kept a close eye on the weather. She also enjoyed seeking out treasures at yard sales.

Vickie was a strong woman who valued hard work and her family, and she will be missed by many.
