William J.C. Smith

William J.C. Smith, of Joppa, Alabama, passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 74. Mr. Smith was born to William Hershel and Ruby Patterson Smith on December 22, 1948, in Cullman County, Alabama.

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents as well as his sister, Margie Smith Jenkins.

Those surviving Mr. Smith include his wife of 54 years, Patricia White Smith; sons, Mike Jenkins (Darla), Joey Smith, Jason Smith (April), Nicholas Smith (Nicole); grandchildren, Aaron Jenkins, Zane Whisenant, Zane Miller, Sadie Smith, Landun Smith, Lyric Smith; great-grandchildren, Grayson Miller, and Hudson Smith.

Graveside services for Mr. Smith will be held at Simcoe Methodist Church Cemetery at 3 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023, with Tony Thomas officiating.
